Jesus Christ Superstar

I swear, if I wasn't writing a musical right now with the most serious of all subjects, I'd be writing the most non-serious of all subjects with the staff of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. That show is the most ridiculous (yet, most funny) shows on this planet. Space Ghost was funny, but somehow the adventures of a Combo Meal seem more interesting to me... shows where society is at right now.

I, unfortunately, was unable to finish the web site for Nine 11 The Musical because of the time constraints, but I'm at home cranking it out. I will be continuing to work on it after my interview with Actorsingers for Jesus Christ Superstar. I would love nothing more than to direct that show next year, and I believe that it needs a youthful direction to make it truly successful, much like my version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Alice Hoglan sent me an email today. I'm hoping her and I are successful in hooking up in June because her son, Mark Bingham, is a very important piece to Nine 11. His life was very unique in that he was a very atypical homosexual. His persona is so compelling that I already have thousands of things swimming around in my head to capture about him in the musical. I know that the dynamic between Tom and him on Flight 93 is one that needs to be captured and immortalized for the world to remember. They both are so compelling, and in their own ways, and in the short time they had together on Flight 93, could have learned so much from each other.

That's all for now. Here's hoping to Alice and I getting together in July. Wish me luck on Jesus Christ Superstar tomorrow!

Matty
